Using a map and marking places on it is a great way to keep track of your exploration of a country when you’re not quite sure where to live yet!

In this presentation, I talk about how to create things with your notes. I demonstrate my process of going from raw notes to this very presentation and share some of my strategies for creating output with little effort by learning in public and identifying topics to create content about using existing notes.

On May 19th, I did a talk at the Linking Your Thinking Conference about using your notes (or losing them), and about what we can do to make something useful of all our notes. This was my run through!

Despite the fact that I’ve long given up using Notion as my main note-taking tool, I’ve still continued to use it as a content calendar. Obsidian just hadn’t caught up with it in terms of functionality… until now.

In this video, I show my current Obsidian workflow for creating and maintaining a content calendar.
