Things I’ve built, mostly in the open: demo apps made to go with talks, games that double as observability puzzles, and tools for taking notes and setting goals. Every one has its code in a public repository.
For talks, writing, and everything else I’m up to, see Work and Speaking.
A Dune-themed endless runner that shows how much telemetry even a throwaway game produces, and what it costs. It runs on Kubernetes with a full Grafana observability stack and autoscaling that follows the players.
An observability murder mystery. A night supervisor is dead, the floor's power was out for five minutes, and the only witnesses are logs, metrics, and traces that you investigate in Grafana.
Templates I use to set and review OKRs and goals in Obsidian, from core principles down to the daily note.
A full local open source setup for visualizing an Obsidian vault with Alloy, Loki, Prometheus, and Grafana: your notes, treated as telemetry.
