Grafana Campfire 🔥 — GrafanaCON 2026 recap
I co-hosted this month’s Grafana Campfire with Stephanie Hingtgen, where we recapped everything that came out of GrafanaCON 2026. Stephanie owned the Grafana 13 walkthrough — Git Sync GA, Dynamic Dashboards GA, Dashboards API v2 GA, Grafana Advisor GA, SCIM GA — what she described as the year Grafana stopped being beta in production. I covered the AI section (Grafana Assistant now in OSS and Enterprise, the three scaling challenges from “Scaling Grafana Assistant”, Investigations, Skills going GA), the three-teams-one-architecture push across Loki Thor, Mimir 3.0, and Pyroscope 2.0, the OTel + Alloy roadmap, alerting, k6 v2.0, and the Marketplace and Logline.
We also took questions from the Champions community on the pace of UI change, Mimir Alertmanager, and the agent-scale question — what happens when your AI agents are themselves the noisiest users of your observability stack? — and threw in a flavour break about the TamaGROTchi and the ocean digital twin demo.
